EUROPEAN POLITICS LOOKS LIKE FUN
How do you say "Ya BURNT!" in Flemish?
How do you say "Ya BURNT!" in Flemish?
Okay, I hate to do this to you all, but something's come up that I must address. As you may know, for my job I have to watch a movie every week that the readers of the blog choose. This week the nominees are Cop Out, The Crazies, and Shutter Island. I have nothing specific against any of these movies, other than the fact that I have ZERO interest in seeing The Crazies and I am a huge fan of Martin Scorsese, even though he's the height of a 7-year-old child.
My boss Tara has every right to campaign for her choice, which is The Crazies, but concedes that she has nothing against the other two options. I, on the other hand, would really enjoy seeing Shutter Island, and probably not enjoy The Crazies even a little! So I am here to ask for a favor:
PLEASE click here, and vote for Shutter Island!
Thank you in advance, Mom.
I love Anthony Bourdain, and Yo Gabba Gabba is a total mindfuck. "In a good way," to paraphrase Dr. Bourdain.
Hall and Oates "get it."
Today, someone cited me as a reference on Wikipedia. Sure, it's for something I wrote about last Sunday's episode of Family Guy, but still: Something just got crossed off my bucket list.
What's next on my bucket list, you ask? Founding a country in my image and invading Andorra. STAY TUNED!
Pandas.
I recently realized that I watch a lot of movies, but only say what I think about the ones I have to watch for work. That doesn't bother me, but for some of you (and you know who you are), this is a large enough issue to harass me in non-Internet, real life. This is a big deal, because the #1 rule of WESABIC (BAS!TOIT!LOL!) is to not talk about anything in my actual life. Anyway, from time to time I'll post the trailers of movies I've recently seen and liked, and probably a short explanation about why I enjoyed them. I'm going to leave the bad ones alone.
So, all that being said, Beer Wars is very good, and I think anyone who likes beer, small hyper-competitive businesses, or America will enjoy it very much. I happen to love all three.
Look, I love Jersey Shore, and I love Snooki, but this is too fitting.

From Bill Watterson's first interview in 15 years:
Q: How do you want people to remember that 6-year-old and his tiger?
Watterson: I vote for "Calvin and Hobbes, Eighth Wonder of the World."
