Today the Mets lost to the Cardinals 4-3 in the most ridiculous way possible. And then, after screaming at my TV and throwing a tantrum, I read this:

“It’s frustrating, there’s no doubt about it,” manager Jerry Manuel said. “You have to applaud the fact we have at least in these first 10 games given ourselves a shot to win.”

Really, Jerry? Really? Do you understand that the point of sports? Here's a reminder:
